Who is the program for and what will it help your team to do?
Our Developing Partnerships that Deliver Connections and Results Course + Coaching program is built for anyone who is in a role directly responsible for developing partnerships to grow brand awareness and enrollment for the institution. This six-module virtual experience teaches you all the things you need to know about the art and science of building strong, effective partnerships between employers and institutions of higher learning.
The course is designed to meet various learning needs with face-to-face group or 1:1 weekly coaching, written and video instruction, sample resources, worksheets and skill demonstration-based assessments to determine staff learning.
What Kind of Measurable Impact Can We Expect from this Coaching?
The goal of this program is to provide individuals in external facing partnership development roles with tools, resources and coaching to support them in understanding their market and creating intentional strategies to reach the market in a way that drives meaningful connections and results.
Over the course of the program, we will explore a range of topics related to developing strategic partnerships, including:
- Understanding the needs and goals of both employers and colleges and identifying areas of mutual interest, benefit and return.
- Understand how to identify and can help employees overcome barriers to success and embrace new behaviors that impact performance
- Developing effective communication channels between partners, building trust and understanding their needs to then be able to offer impactful educational solutions for their workforce or community.
- Strategies, tools and best practices for tracking, measuring and reporting up the progress and success of the strategy.
- Creating shared goals and objectives that align with the institution’s objectives.
- Designing customized partnership development strategies by focusing on who you serve as an institution and aligning that with any specific geographic, programmatic or industry niches by market or region.
- Exploring new models for collaboration and unique partnership engagement strategies that differentiate the institution that truly fit a need and offer measurable value to the partner.
- Identifying opportunities for joint research, innovation, and experimentation with key strategic partners.
- Developing strategies for scaling successful partnerships and replicating them in other verticals and regions through the Strategic Partnership Toolkit Concept

Program Deliverables

Guided Interactive Group or 1:1 Coaching (only included in a coaching payment option)
Individual Personal Training Session Post Course with a U School Coach
Leadership update meetings to share course engagement reports and feedback on staff progress (only included in a coaching payment option)
Our programs are facilitated with a, “Train the Trainer Approach,” so your team can take this learning back to your teams for maximum reach and impact.
Engagement Options
Option 1: 8 Week Virtual Group Course + Coaching Cohort– This option includes access to the Creating and Leading a High Performing Enrollment Team Course and all coaching materials that will guide an eight-week interactive coaching program. Participants will meet once a week for 60 minutes to discuss the previous week’s learning content. Students will also have the option to access 1:1 coaching as needed to supplement their learning.
Option 2: Month-to-Month 1:1 Course + Coaching Membership – This option includes access to the Creating and Leading a High Performing Enrollment Team Course and all coaching materials. Each participant will also have the option to meet 1:1 with a dedicated U School Coach up to once per week to support them in their learning and implementation.
Option 3: Online Course and Course Materials Only - This option includes access to the Creating and Leading a High Performing Enrollment Team Course and all coaching materials.
